Mr Jack Forrester

Jack is currently a student at the University of Sheffield, where he receieved an MEng degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering in 2017. Throughout his degree, he has completed various projects including designing medical instrumentation, real-time EEG imaging and motor design. He has also completed a placement at the AMRC in Sheffield and taken part in the Sheffield Undergraduate Research Scheme, working on computer vision-based projects.

Jack is currently working as a PhD student in the Electrical Machines and Drives Research Group, with his main research focus on piezoelectric transformers and their use in resonant power supplies.
